Committees
PCRID's Committees are comprised of members who volunteer to assist in the operations of the organization. Members may volunteer for several committees and there is no term for each position. Consider volunteering on a committee and give back to your organization. Here's a description of what each committee chairperson does and how you can get involved.
Annual Conference

As PCRID's Annual Conference Chair, the candidate manages all aspects of the conference, with support from the conference committee. She/He is responsible for managing the budget, communicating with the conference site liaison, scheduling, marketing, and much more. The Annual Conference Chair also reports to the second vice president (VP2) on the PCRID Board. Please contact the candidate with any conference-related questions, issues or to volunteer to serve on the annual conference committee. Archivist
Chair: Jenifer McGilligan

As PCRID’s Archivist, Jenifer is responsible for maintaining a collection of printed and electronic materials. She maintains lists of PCRID historical information. She summarizes the archives into a narrative history and takes and organizes photos of PCRID events. The Archivist reports to the Secretary. She is available via email to assist you with PCRID’s collection of documents and history related questions and/or issues.
Bylaws

As PCRID's Bylaw Committee Chair, Mish is responsible for reviewing current bylaws as well as any proposed amendments and motions. She is available via email to answer questions about PCRID's bylaws.
Diversity
Chair: Billy Sanders

As PCRID's Diversity Committee Chair, Billy works with the members of the committee to foster the professional development of PCRID members through diversity. He is available to answer any questions that you may have regarding opportunities offered by the Diversity Committee.
Giving By Acting
Chair: Rachel Birr

As PCRID's Giving By Acting Liaison, Rachel works with local Deaf organizations to determine ways in which PCRID members can assist through service projects or small in-kind donations. She is eager to be the one piece of the puzzle for encouraging interpreters to give back to the Deaf community that has given us so much! Licensure (ad hoc)

As PCRID's ad hoc Licensure Committee Chair, Andrea is responsible for keeping the membership updated on the legislative bills and actions that affect interpreters. She is available to answer questions about joining the ad hoc committee for licensure, share input for the committee, or to receive updates from this committee. Mentorship
