Programs

PCRID's Programs are comprised of members who volunteer to assist in the operations of the organization. Members may volunteer for several programs and there is no term for each position. Consider volunteering for a program and give back to your organization. Here's a description of what each program chairperson does and how you can get involved. 

Certificate Maintenance Program

As PCRID's CMP Coordinator, Carol is responsible for processing CEUs for workshops, conferences and independent studies. She is available to answer questions about certification maintenance issues. Check out our CEU Sponsoring page to learn about the different ways you can earn CEU's. 

Certificate Maintenance Program Vice Chair

As PCRID's Vice CMP Coordinator, Kimberly is responsible for processing CEUs from Participant Initiated Non-RID Activities (PINRA) and Academic Coursework (AC). She is available to answer questions about CEUs relating to PINRA and AC issues.


Communications Director

As PCRID's Communications Director, Lisette is responsible for streamlining communications between the board, committees, and its members. Vital information such as PCRID and local events, job announcements, workshop opportunities, and so much more will be conveyed to the membership via email and Facebook. She is also responsible for managing PCRID Social Networking sites, Facebook and Twitter. She is available to answer any questions you may have in regard to any communications matter. 

Vice Communications Director

As PCRID's Vice Communications Director, (member) would be responsible for managing and posting daily on PCRID's Social Networking sites; Facebook and Twitter. The Vice Communiations Director assists the Communications Director for other communication activities and is available to answer any questions you may have in regard to any communications matter.

Membership Coordinator

As PCRID's Membership Coordinator, Shannyn is responsible for the annual membership drive, membership renewals, providing accurate membership numbers to the Board as needed, and all things related to PCRID membership. She is available to answer questions about renewals, member profiles, usernames and any general membership issues.


Webmaster

As PCRID's Webmaster, Heather is responsible for maintaining the information on this site as well as troubleshooting any website issues. She is also responsible for the content and posting of PCRID videos on our YouTube site, PCRIDOfficialChannel. Heather is available via email to assist you with PCRID website related questions and/or issues.


DCAD Liaison

MDAD Liaison

Chair: Miako Villanueva

MDAD Website

As PCRID's MDAD Liaison, Miako is responsible for working to strengthen the relationship between PCRID and MDAD, encourage collaboration between the two organizations, and supporting joint PCRID and MDAD professional development, social, and networking opportunities. She also regularly solicits feedback from MDAD on issues relating to interpreters and the field of interpretation. She is available to answer questions about issues related to membership in MDAD, events provided by MDAD, the working relationship between MDAD and PCRID, and ways to further the professional and social relationship between our two closely integrated communities.
